Great thoughts Steve. Here is a dilemma I have been pondering for the last few weeks. How and when will Christian society transition from two separate lives (their sacred & secular) into one kingdom life? What will it take to integrate our love, passion, worship, and visions into a life that sees all the world as God's and builds the Kingdom? I found myself listening to another worship song that was a, "God we are waiting for you" song, which is an entirely beautiful expression of intercession. However, I was really hit that so much of our language is about how some day in the future God will show up and bring Himself glory. I want to sit in a worship service where songs are literally thanking God for the impact in the immediate community, distant nations, and daily life. I guess in reading the collection of Psalms, so much of them are ripe with "now" thanks. I just see such a distinct gap in our thinking and prayer life and what we want to see God do... some day.

Good thoughts on the Kingdom bud.

Josh
