This “Picture of a Prophet” is taken from Ravenhill’s book “America Is To Young to Die,” which has recently been republished and is available at amazon.com.

He never wrote an entire book specifically devoted to the subject of prophets, but all of his books were in the same vein- a prophetic call to the Church towards repentance, whole-hearted love for Christ, prayer, fasting, holy living, and a burden for the lost. He always issued an invitation to revival.

I personally don’t own a book on this subject, but the late Leonard Ravenhill (who went home in 1994) wrote several books and many articles that can be obtained various places online.

If you visit the link in the article, http://www.ravenhill.org, you may be able to find something you’re looking for. That site is maintained by one of his sons, so he should be able to help you find some more material about the prophetic through Ravenhill’s perspective.

Dear Leonard Ravenhill,

So enjoyed your very brilliantly written and accurate…account of the life of the Prophet! (I would almost say that you are one yourself to have this much insight?)

Anyway I would sure like to be contacted should you have a book like this on “Picture of a Prophet”.
