The fact remains that many have a form of Godliness that denies the power and wisdom of God (Jesus is such says a multitude of Scriptures such as Acts 2:38; 4:10-12; John 10:9; 14:26; Colossians 2:8-10; 1 Corinthians 1:1-24; Zachariah 14:9; Acts 2:21-36; 10:36; Matthew 28;18, ect). If we do not apply Jesus' name to every word or deed that we do as commanded by Paul, then we remian in our sins. (Colosssians 3;17; Galatians 1:6-12; 3:27; Romans 6:1-5, ect). We will be like those ones on the broad or wide path who used the name of Jesus for miracles, healings and exercisms. Yet these failed to apply it in their baptism as commanded by Christ Himself (see Mark 16:15-17; Luke 24:45-47; Matthew 28:19; John 5:43; 14:26; Matthew 1:21; Acts 8:12-16; 10:36-48; 18:8; 19:15; 22:16) Therefore He (Jesus is Lord of all things) never knew them! They will say according the Matthew: "Lord, Lord we did all these things in your name" (of Jesus) such as casting out of demons or healings, they used it for everything except one thing, in their baptism. That's where it counted the most. Thus He never knew them. (Matthew 7:21-23) Baptism was commanded in Christ's name (by Him) and completed by all of the Apostles(including Matthew) in Jesus' name, as it alon now saves us. The Sinner's Prayer is an invention made by modern preachers (Billy Sunday and Bright, and Graham) and not in the Scriptures. Peace.

"That is inferred onto the text and seems
to be “adding to the words of the book”, something strictly forbidden in
the final words of Revelation, yet so many do it with doctrines like
this and pre-tribulation rapture without thinking twice about what
they’re teaching." like using the word "rapture" that appears no where in the bible.
