Joshua Kirkland has a strong passion for in depth study and the sharing of the scriptures. He believes that to truly be followers of Jesus, we must be dedicated students of his word. As Jesus said himself: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.” He believes that the most important schooling for ministers on any level is the school of the Spirit. For there is no greater teacher than the Holy Spirit Himself and no greater way to learn than to experience the Scriptures and not just examine them.

Joshua has had the privilege to serve as a teaching pastor in both a “house church” setting and “institutional church” settings at various fellowships. The areas of ministry God has allowed him to serve in range from youth ministry, young adults ministry, and teaching full congregations. He has also served in various worship ministries through his wide variety of percussive instruments through which he loves to express his devotion and passion for the Lord. All in all, he desires to see the Church return to the simplicity of the Gospel and the true intimate fellowship of believers.

He desires to help the Church be what God intended it to be… an organism, not an organization.  For the Church to operate as a corporate body as opposed to a corporate business.

Joshua resides in Woodstock, GA., with his wife and three children.

Hey, I just stumbled across your stuff and I really like it! I like your spirit of simplicity and no stress! :) We actually live in Kennesaw and I’d love to connect some time.  If you are up for that or down with that, let me know. My wife and our little girl Danielle are a part of RiverStone church there and we were missionaries in Russia for 7 years and then came back and last year attended Bethel Atlanta’s school.  So holla! :)   We have real heart for the prophetic or better said, people just hearing God and responding to Him, and growing deeper in intimacy with Him!
