I came to this sight for further reading on "Pauls' thorn" And enjoyed what I read. However, I just wanted to respond to the article, where you spoke on Pauls' possible eye condition. First, I agree that if Paul had been just an average citizen, with an unsightly weepage of the eye, folks probably would've avoided contact. But Paul performed miracles, and to the truly desperate, who saw no obvious sign of contagion, this might've even appeared mystical! They wouldn't hesitate to seek healing from a man who COULD heal! Some Mightn't, based on interpretation of law, or from personal prejudice. But I don't think an eye condition would've stopped many.
