About Bryan P
Bryan Purtle was born in ‘79 in Kansas City, MO. In 1996, after years of rebellion and resistance toward God, his life was radically transformed by the power of the Gospel. He attended a ministry school in Florida, and since 1999 he has been engaged in the work of the Lord in the inner-city of K.C.
In 2002, along with his wife and 5 other ministry school graduates, he planted a community of believers in the inner-city which has become the TENT OF DAVID FELLOWSHIP, and the ANTIOCHAL HOUSE OF PRAYER. TODF is “a society of believers devoted to the extension of the knowledge of Christ through the ministries of prayer and fasting, revival, theology, life together, and missions.” They live and labor for the fullness of Christ in the Church, the increase of the intimate knowledge of God, the salvation of Israel, the transformation of the nations, and the return of the Lord.
Bryan lives in Mid-Town Kansas City with his wife Audrey and their five children. Together, they carry a distinctive burden for the revelation of God as He is, the reality and maturation of the Church, the spiritual and moral transformation of the nations, the restoration of a passion and value for the Scriptures, the recovery of the apostolic witness with conviction and power, and the awareness of issues pertaining to the mystery of Israel and the end of the age. The TENT OF DAVID FELLOWSHIP shares a vision and jealousy for these realities to be restored to the eternal glory of Jesus Christ.

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the article you did on Tozer’s bio. Very sad indeed. I don’t understand how someone that astute and so deep had seemingly such a family.
We have friends there in KC too who go to IHOP. Is hour HOP the same group as IHOP?
My wife’s family is in Eldon close to Lake of the Ozarks. We too have 5 kids and 1 on the way.

Your very welcome, Ricky. And of course, as with Israel’s blind spots and failures, “these things happened as an example for us, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” (1 Cor. 10)
We’re not officially connected with IHOP-KC, though we have many friends there.
Blessings,
BP
